Let them live

We all know that committing suicide is an offence. There are many people apprehended by the police who try to commit it. It can be rather said who had tried but failed, eventually caught by police. Many are of opinion it should not be treated as an offence; contrary to that, such people need to be treated by Doctors and not by Police. Few years back an old man kills himself in lake; after investigation it reveals that he was suffering from HIV. Just a few days back a renowned top executive jumps down from top of his residential complex in Mumbai; reason of such self killing is not known.

 A trader has suffered a huge loss in option/call future market due to the slowdown in economy.  As he stands high on a building above Wall Street, a feeling that he experiences is not fear of falling,……it is a fear that he might jump. Sometimes suicide fascinates us. When a child commits it, it is a great failure on the part of parents who never in their life could forget it. It inflicts a mark in body, in mind. Parents never could even think of that forgetting. It comes in sleep, while on walk and while on festival too.The suicide rate in America is up by  18% since 2000. This is a tragedy, and also matters politically, too. Most of the target groups are middle class and low income group people who could not catch the boom are grounded miserable. Their deaths are so bounced in the political arena that enables the people of America to think of Mr. Trumph as an alternative. It gives us a lesson such deaths should be not ignored.

Nevertheless, despite America’s gloomy trend, there is a more optimistic review globally. There is a decline in rate by 29% in international section of society. As a result of which 2.8 million people have been saved life during that period of time. If we notice properly the total toll of death by means of suicide is far more than a war between countries could have killed.

Social stability is one of the factors. In Russia during social turbulence, the middle and aged people when find their source of income are not stable, prefer to kill selves. Gorbachov observes that most people who attempt suicide are unemployed and alcoholic. Gorbachov restricts on alcoholism that has receded the rate of suicide. Around the world urbanization and greater freedom helps the rate of suicide remarkably lowered. Putin who helps to create employment amongst new generation through industrialization and restricts booze, the self killing have been receded gradually.

While across the world the most of suicides are concentrated amongst middle aged, old persons, in China and India young girls are the most victims. In most of the world older people kill themselves and men are more than women. Now in China and India, the attempt is also declined. The political stability is also a factor. In India although Government runs with notable majority, still there has been a political and social unrest. This has led to impetus of self slaughtering. Few people who are terminally ill, in severe pain and determined to die, suicide may be least terrible option. Still it has to be conducted in presence of doctors who may be asked to assist them legally.
